The 34th edition of the VT OLYMPICS brings together the best Vocational Training students from all over Spain
A total of 273 Vocational Training (VT) students from all over Spain are to take part in the 34th edition of the VT OLYMPICS. This nationwide contest, promoted and organised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport through the Directorate General for Vocational Training, with the active collaboration of the autonomous regions and IFEMA, will see candidates from 32 professional specialities put their skills to the test between 13 and 16 February.
The main objective of the VT OLYMPICS is to promote Vocational Training as a valuable alternative for the future as well as helping promote the job prospects offered by this type of education and in particular the importance of specialising, both for traditional and new professions, so that young people can make their way in the current job market, adapting their studies to the reality of the market and the demands of the sector.
The candidates, all of them aged 16 to 22, will represent each of the 17 autonomous regions, as well as the cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
