IFEMA has appointed Alberto Díaz as the new Director of INTERSICOP, the International Bakery, Pastry and Related Industries Show, which will hold its 10th edition from 1 to 5 October 2014 at FERIA DE MADRID.
A graduate in Economics and Business Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid and holder of an Executive Master's degree in Business Management and Marketing from the Instituto de Empresa – Business School, before joining IFEMA Alberto Díaz worked at Santana Motor – Suzuki.

GENERA prepares its 2014 exhibition

Raúl Calleja, new Director of VENDIBÉRICA, to be held alongside HOREQ 2013
IFEMA has just appointed Raúl Calleja as the new Director of VENDIBÉRICA, the International Vending Fair, which will be held at FERIA DE MADRID on 20 to 22 November 2013 alongside HOREQ, the Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Fair, of which he will also be the Director.
Raúl Calleja, who boasts extensive experience in sales at IFEMA, after his stint as the Director of Sales for the International Tourism Fair, FITUR, and in the Business Development area, launched two new events which have become established in their respective sectors: FRUIT ATTRACTION, the International Fair for the Fruit and Vegetable Sector, and MOTORTEC AUTOMECHANIKA IBÉRICA, the International Fair of Automobile Parts, Equipment and Services, which will now go to the area specialising in motor-related events.

Alberto Díaz, new Director of car shows at IFEMA
. Alberto Díaz has been appointed by IFEMA to manage the organisation of the shows relating to the automotive sector, in which he has spent his entire career. Since joining the IFEMA commercial team in 2006, he has worked as commercial director for events such as the Madrid International Auto Show, the Second-Hand Vehicle Show, TRAFIC and Madrid Más Moto.
