FITUR KNOW-HOW & EXPORT Boosts the Internationalisation of Spanish Tourism Companies
The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, to be staged from 30th January to 3rd February 2013, will boost the internationalisation of Spanish tourism companies on this occasion, together with the correct management of tourism know-how. In this respect, this fair, which is organised by IFEMA, will host the first-ever staging of FITUR KNOW-HOW & EXPORT, in collaboration with ICEX and SEGITTUR. This project will take place within the framework of the fair, enabling tourism companies to present their most innovative solutions and projects within the field of integral tourism management.

MATELEC 2012: more than 40,000 professionals from 81 countries meet in Madrid
This completely overhauled exhibition has reconfirmed its stature as an international meeting point, highlighting energy efficiency as a business opportunity for the electrical and electronic industry
A total of 40,027 professionals took part in the 16th International Exhibition of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronic Industry, MATELEC 2012. From 23 to 26 October 530 companies exhibited their products at Feria de Madrid. The exhibition, organised by IFEMA, was also visited by 3,579 students in their last year of vocational training in this field.

FRUIT ATTRACTION 2012 attracts a total of 28,155 professionals from 73 countries
The positive results of this edition; with a 6% increases in visitors and exhibitors, together with strong sector support, have laid the groundwork for success at the next edition on 16-18 October, 2013, at FERIA DE MADRID
The fourth edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, held on 24-26 October in the exhibition halls of FERIA DE MADRID, concluded with 6% more visitors than in its previous edition and the attendance of 19,660 professionals. This professional event also saw an increase of over 6% in company participation with the presence of 597 exhibitors. In the opinion of organisers IFEMA and FEPEX, both results confirm the progressive growth of the fair, even during an economic crisis, and confirm the interest and backing of the fruit and vegetable sector to boost FRUIT ATTRACTION as commercial tool and meeting point.Likewise, the 6% increase in professionals participating in this edition confirms sector support, making the event the biggest gathering to date with a total of 28,155 professionals from 73 countries.

COCINA Y SABOREA is being moved to 2013
Running from 6 to 8 December 2013 at Feria de Madrid
IFEMA has decided to move the dates of the first COCINA Y SABOREA, the Cookery and Cuisine Fair for All, to ensure that the various areas covered by this unique event are represented to the maximum. This means that this new event, initially scheduled to run from 7 to 9 December 2012, will instead be held from 6 to 8 December 2013. Organisers will thus ensure that this event, promising to be an innovative concept in trade fairs, will be arranged in the best possible way.
