100x100 MASCOTA, a complete overview of the pet universe
With two months to go until the opening, preparation is continuing for 100x100 MASCOTA, the Pet Fair, with many companies and brands in the industry confirming their participation.
On 26 and 27 May Madrid will once again welcome this colourful show, which is organised by IFEMA and designed for all animal lovers. A perfect event to visit that weekend, with options for pets to join the fun activities, and exhibitions to see at the Fair.

With two months to go until the opening, preparation is continuing for 100x100 MASCOTA, the Pet Fair, with many companies and brands in the industry confirming their participation.
On 26 and 27 May Madrid will once again welcome this colourful show, which is organised by IFEMA and designed for all animal lovers. A perfect event to visit that weekend, with options for pets to join the fun activities, and exhibitions to see at the Fair.
Now in its second edition, 100x100 MASCOTA will benefit from the presence of about a hundred exhibitors, who will show new products for direct sale to the public. They will be presented in categories of products and services, in the sectors of health and hygiene, food, pet toys, clothes and accessories, bath and beauty products, baskets, cages, aquariums and terrariums, equipment for breeders, outdoor clothing and accessories, pet shops, cuddly toys and games for animals.
The category of services will include vets, shelters and adoption centres, protection societies, training and education, courses and classes for owners, and holiday pet hotels and kennels.
There will also be different activities, such as those organised by the RSCE, the Spanish Royal Canine Society: the 84th International Spring Dog Show with the H.M. The King Trophy, the Interclub “Team” Trophy and the 22nd Spanish Agility Championship; the 4th Spanish Obedience Cup, OCI, and the National Dog Show, Spanish Breeds edition. All of these activities will take place in the different rings of halls 5 and 7 at Feria de Madrid, and the Ring of Honour, on this occasion sponsored by ARION.
The Fair will again have an area for breed clubs, showing visitors their diversity and the characteristics and qualities of the different breeds.
Cats will also have their turn in the spotlight at 100x100 MASCOTA, with a splendid cat show which will also provide information on breeds, care and everything relating to cats.
In partnership with the Madrid Veterinary College and AMVAC, the Madrid Veterinary Association of Domestic Pets, the area 100x100 ADOPTA will be added to the fair, offering information on pet adoption and available animals, and another area where vets will give pet owners advice and recommendations.
Fashion will also have a place at 100x100 MASCOTA. As well as new fashions in clothes for pets, there will be various activities relating to this sector in the two days of the Fair, organised by dog fashion specialists.
The best 100x100, the competition for your pet
The best 100x100, a competition organised by 100x100 MASCOTA and Mascoteros, is still accepting participants for all its categories: “Best behaved”, “Human resemblance”, “Child and pet”, “Most beautiful”, “Smallest”, “Biggest”, “Biggest ears”, “Most elegant”, “Friendliest” and “Furriest”.
There is still time. People who want to compete can add their pet in as many categories as they like via the website (www.elmejor100x100.com), where they can upload a photo or video of their pet.
A panel of members of the organisation 100x100 MASCOTA and Mascoteros will choose 5 finalists per category, and followers of the Fair's official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/100x100mascota) will choose 5 using the “Like” option. The finalists will be invited to the final during 100 x100 MASCOTA, 26 and 27 May at Feria de Madrid. All the finalists will receive a gift, and the winners and runners-up will win a major prize from the sponsor.
100x100 MASCOTA will show its visitors new aspects of the exciting world of pets, and is a must-see event for all animal lovers: the best place for a fun day out with a huge range of animals.
