The children's footwear company, Gioseppo, has been granted the category of Customs Warehouse Type D, following a tough auditing process undertaken by the Spanish Customs Department.

Thanks to this new status, the warehouse that the company owns in Elche can now operate as a private customs warehouse, thus endowing its distribution and product replacement channel with a greater degree of agility and efficiency. The award of this Customs category will enhance contact between Gioseppo and its customers and will have a favourable impact on the management of the brand's products, in the sense that the company's facilities will now serve as a private customs warehouse.

In mid-2010, the Spanish Ministry of Taxation already granted an Authorized Economic Operator Certificate (AEO) to this brand from Elche. At that moment Gioseppo became the first company in Valencia and the second enterprise in Spain to be granted this category, which means that the company was officially considered to be a "reliable operator throughout the entire logistics chain in the European Union," given that it completely fulfilled all the corresponding European regulations.
